Alfie’s Work Experience!!!!!!
My cousin Alfie who is 10 years old has been spending some time with us at People Building and NLP4Kids.
He wanted to let you know how his work experience went today so here is his blog for you to read:
When I heard that Gemma wanted me to help at People Building, I was ecstatic because I knew that her job is amazing. I would recommend working for her. When I arrived, I ran through the door and Gemma told me what to do.
The first job was really easy. I had to staple some pieces of paper together. The second job was harder. I put the paper into plastic wallets. I have never done that before so each one took 3-5 minutes. The third task was incredibly easy; all I did was shred some paper and take the rubbish out.
I have no best part of the day because it was all enjoyable apart from the folders me & Gemma did.
I am looking forward to do:..
*Laminating
*Colour code keys for the new filing cabinets
*Making brochures
*Tidying the tool box
because it sounds like a lot of fun.
The new office looks much more like an office but quite messy as Gemma had literally just moved in and this place has just opened.
It was a brilliant day {31.07.14} because I was here. I hope you enjoyed reading this and please reply.
I’ll read your replies when I’m back tomorrow morning.
Well done Alfie, looks like you had a very busy day and got lots of jobs done with Gemma. Have fun tomorrow
Alfie,,
You da man!
Sounds as if you had it under control. Good work ethics, organised and made it sound like fun.
Keep up the good work.
I really enjoyed reading your blog, thanks Alfie! Your attitude is wonderful; being so enthusiastic and seeing work as a fun place to be will ensure that you’ll be a brilliant business owner or employee in the future. Keep up the great work!
Hello Alfie,
From reading your blog you make office life sound like a fun place to be, every task you have done is like a little adventure each with a challenge and a another skill mastered. You are definitely on your stepping stones to a great future, even Lord Sugar (The Apprentice) needs to sit up and take notes!
Well done, Alfie! I’m looking forward to reading what you get up to today! Kx
Hey Alfie,
Great Job – Well Done!! 🙂 I think it’s fantastic that you are taking an interest in running a business; particularly one that involves “giving back to the community” by enhancing the holistic education of children. I’m Montessori trained so I’m absolutely all for helping children reach their maximum potential. Keep up the good work! 🙂
Very best wishes, Paula Elizabeth X
